Cisco 7940G Protocol Application Invalid.

Hi, I'm completely new to cisco IP phones. I bought an old 7940 phone and want to connect it to a cisco 3925. I configured ephones, dhcp server with option 150. I powered on and the phone is stuck on Universal Application Loader and shows Protocol Application Invalid. What could be the reason for this?

I am using UC on my 3925

I set up tftp server on 3925 with system and everything works
