Hi,
I am trying to use a Cisco DMP 4310 with a standard power injector (PRJ3) but it seems that the DMP doesn't start.
I tried using the power injector with a phone and also with a wireless access point, it is working.
I also tried to plug the DMP to a POE switch, the dmp starts.
Is the DMP 4310 compliant with standard power injector ?
Thanks.

Hi Paul,
The DMP should be compliant with standard POE but it seems that it needs quite some power to operate so maybe the injector you are using doesn't provide enough.

Nicolas

Hi,
It seems that the Power Injector delivers enought power but I will try with a PoE+ power injector. In the power injector's datasheet there is nothing about a 802.3af (standard for PoE) compliance so I will try with a compliant power injector. I will let you know if I found the answer.
Thanks.
