I have a cisco edge 340 dmp player. I am trying to embed a facebook feed onto one of the digital signage pages. I have been following the directions on this site: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin to get the embedded facebook code. It uses javascript which the dmp 340 supports.
If I create an html widget I can insert the code, the facebook embedded feed will appear while previewing the sign, but will not display on the actual dmp player hooked up to the tv.
Any ideas on how to embed a facebook feed into a digital sign? Do I need to create a different kind of widget? Do I need a plugin that enabled javascript? I have done this with a twitter feed without any issues. Don't know if my facebook issue is realted to javascript or not.
