Cisco HS 730 Headset not answering calls coming in on Cisco Jabber

Having issues with call button functions using the Cisco 730 Headset connected via Bluetooth to Lenovo laptop running Windows 10. The calls come through cloud based UCCX to Jabber for remote users answering calls. When trying to use the answer, end and reject call features it does not perform any desired task. Also the mute does not sync to Jabber when the button is pressed and feel this is directly related.

 

I have confirmed:

- the device firmware is up to date.

- successfully connected to laptop via Bluetooth

- headset selected in Jabber for the the speakers and microphone usage

- checked device manager for possible updates needed on all drivers related to the device that appear to include hidden devices.

- ability to answer calls works in MS Teams application and when connected to desk phone using the USB that comes with the headset

- confirmed Jabber version of 12.9 or higher

 

Any ideas on possible cause or fixes is much appreciated.

I had the same problem.

It works again after deleting all Bluetooth pairings (by holding the power button for a long time).

I also deleted the device in Windows and re-paired it.
