Cisco IP Phones registration

Hi guys,

I know that based on different MCS platiform I use, I can register different number of phones per MCS server as follows:

MCS 7825 - 1,000 IP Phones

MCS 7835 - 2,500 IP Phones

MCS 7845 - 7,500 IP Phones

But would the version of CCM I'm using have any impact on the number of phones I can register on a per MCS server basis?

My client currently has CCM 3.0, and they say they can get v3.1. How many IP PHones can I register per MCS? And if I get them to upgrade to v3.3 or v4, will that allow more IP PHones to register?

Appreciate any help,

Lee

As per documents, the number of phones you can register is depended on the MCS platform and also on the CCM version.

CCM 3.0 and above would support 2500 phones.

You would need CCM 3.3 and MCS 7845 to support 7,500 phones.
