I'm trying to push a <CiscoIPPhoneExecute> command to a phone, according (IMO) to the documentation I found and previous examples that can be spotted even on this forum.
too bad I keep getting
<CiscoIPPhoneError Number="0"/>
to which I can't find any reference.
what is wrong with my life?

more undocumented... now I keep getting:
funny thing, I put a port forwarder/TCP logger (qdpf, http://www.hawksley.net/software/qdpf/) inbetween my browser (client) and the IP phone's web server to debug the tcp session... and this way IT WORKS like a charm, with no change at all. I get the
summary:
- FORM ACTION to http: //user:pass@my.phone.ip.addr/CGI/Execute/CGI/Execute
no go,
- FORM ACTION to http: //user:pass@my.host.ip.addr:1234/CGI/Execute:1234/CGI/Execute
(redirected to my.phone.ip.addr:80)
everything fine!!!
Ideas?

the phone seems not to like providing HTTP auth on the URL via mozilla. letting the browser manage it (via the `traditional' popup) works.
most definitely a mozilla issue. Konqueror and Explorer work.
Still can't figure out why it worked with the `proxy' inbetween...

The following error
<CiscoIPPhoneError Number="0"/>
will be presented if the "URL Authentication" in CUCM under System->Enterprise Parameters cannot be reached from the phone

I know it's 11 years ago issue .. but someone else may be facing it now!
