CME andCallForward All

Hi all,

i am sure there is anybody who has the same problem.

IOS 12.3.7T, Gateway: 1760, E1 Interface:

Phone A has activated CallForwardAll to Phone B. Phone C calls from PSTN the Phone A, the call will

forwarded to B but Phone C cant hear any Ringback tone.

Any suggestions ?

Hi Mehmet,

you are right I have the problem to.

It appears if you call from the ISDN-Network(PSTN) and you configured call-forwarding on an IP-Phone under CME. Without forwarding you hear Ringback.

Unfortunately I´ve no workaround.

I tried 12.3(4)T4 and 12.3(7)T --> no difference

Also I tried a bunch of IOS commands with progress_ind and so on but they all refer to callmanager not to callmanager express and so they didn´t work.

May be you have the possibility to escalate it to TAC?

Seems not the be solved easily.

it´s me again. I think I found the reason!

Do you have also configured "isdn overlap receiving?

If so the following Bug describes our problem. The bug status is resolved though no workaround and no fixed version is mentioned. No idea how cisco thinks that it is resolved, do they think overlap receiving is not needed, I don´t konow?!

CSCed95175 Bug Details

Symptom: When Overlap receiving is configured on ISDN and the destination is setup to

call forward all, we do not send call proceeding, alerting or connect back to PSTN, causing

the call to be disconnected due to Recovery on Timer Expiry

Conditions: Seen only when overlap receiving is configured.

Workaround: There is no workaround.

Hi Horst,

there is no workaround at the moment for this bug if you take the 12.3.

I think this is fixed in 12.2.15T11. I couldnt take this because the user wouldnt use the english locale

on their 7912 Ip Phones (I need the german locale).

I have now a special Image (experimentel version) from Cisco TAC an it works.

This image will available on June/July.
