Is there a way of creating a codec preferance list for a trunk terminating on a 6608 port?
We have a trunk which gets presented as A-law (standard in Europe) which needs to pass calls to an H.323 application which only supports ì-law.
Calls within the VoIP/CallManager setup are fine as the 7960 handsets are negotiating the codec.
The vendor (an AVVID partner) has given us an IOS config using a codec prefernace list but no info relating to a Cat6k CatOS setup.
Is there a way to edit the ports config file or is upgrading the switch to CatIOS the way to go.
Any thoughts greatly aprreciated.
