Configure CME with one analog lone has (Fax and Land line same number)

Hi Guys,

I have one case which contain one analog line from Service provider contains the same fax and land number and want to connect the main line to FXO and connect Fax also to FXO because my router has one FXO card two ports, can I do it? or what is the solution for my case?

Fax cannot be connected to an FXo port It should be Connected on fxs  port

Is it possible to use ATA convertor for fax if the land number and fax number are the same?

you can use ATA or  FXS cards for connecting analogue devices.(phones,FAX, POSS machine etc). if you are planning to use the same number for both FAX and incoming call, you gone face issues.

if you setup auto connect on FAX machine, incoming calls will be answered by FAX machine. if u   disable auto connect on FAX , user need to answer the call manually from FAX machine to receive FAX.

it not a good idea to use same number for both FAX and Incoming calls.
