Configuring SRST

Hello,

Can someone help me with the next question.

I want to configure SRST on a 2621XM router.

But which IP address do I have to configure with the 'ip source-address' command ?

Does anyone know a good SRST configuration example with drawings of the configured situation ?

I find that the Cisco docs are not so clear if you want to configure it for the first time.

ip source address is the address to which the IP phones send the request to .So it needs to be your fastethernet address of the SRST router .You can also configure a loopback address and in the callmanager create a SRST reference .So when the WAN goes down phones send the request to the SRST reference. When you configure the loopback address ip source address needs to be the loopback address configured.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Radhika

The source address needs to be your LAN side connection. And the port is 2000. I don't have any docs but here is a simple config:

call-manager-fallback

ip source-address 172.16.2.36 port 2000

max-ephones 48

max-dn 48

default-destination 3167

access-code pri 9T direct-inward-dial

Then just use the num-exp command if you have DID numbers.
