I just installed Call Manager upgraded to 3.2.2c installed all OS upgrades and SQL 7.0 upgrades. I am getting a CTI application failed to open provider error. The explanation is: Application is unable to open provider.
Have never seen this error I did the workaround Cisco has posted. I am still getting the error.

From http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/3_2/alarms2.htm
%CCM_CTI-CTI-3-kCtiProviderOpenFailure: CTI application failed to open provider CTIconnectionId [Long], Login User Id [String], ReasonCode [ULong], IPAddress [String]
Explanation Application is unable to open provider.
Recommended Action Check the reason code and correct the problem. Restart CTIManager if problem persists.
If restarting CTI Manager doesn't help, you may want to open a case with Cisco, especially if you started seeing the error only after upgrading to 3.2.2c.

yes, i have seen these messages some times. resolution :
a) reset the password of the user "CTI Framework" to "ciscocisco", restart cti service
b) if this does not help, proceed with this article :

Read carefully through the "Workarounds" section, it helps :)
