CUC And Office 365 Voice Mail

Hi,

 

We are having an issue when users receives voicemail. When a user receives a voicemail, the MWI light turns on and they get an email. When they delete this email, they expect the MWI (message waiting indicator) light on their phones to turn off, but it does not.  The only way to clear the message is to connect to the Unity system and delete the message. This behavior is new to Office 365. Have anyone experience this behavior? Can someone inform on how to correct this? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How is the email getting to Office365? Do you have Unified Messaging set up with the type "Office 365" or are you relaying the messages to O365?
