Hi,
Got a customer who has CUCILync at HQ and just Lync at remote site. They currently have IM and Presence only between them.
I was hoping to enable seemless voice and video between them without the user having to know what System the other party is on.
If I created a SIP trunk between them will that pass voice and video? What features could be lost as result of this? Can they use Lync for mutiple participant video Meeting?

OK. How about:
What is required to enable video conferencing between a user with CUCILYNC and a user with LYNC?
Please help!

Hi Rich,
According to Microsoft, you need a "bridge" (MCU) to allow third party Video Terminals (i.e. CUCiLync) to interoperate together. Take into account that Lync/OCS client uses RTV as codec and a transcoding device is needed to adapt the MS protocols to a more standard one.

Seems that only Radvision Scopia MCU is supported so far
