Dear
kindly find the below configuration for DCM.
1 Set up the IP address of the GbE card.
2 Set up the default gateway for the GbE port.
3 Set up the default GbE port values
Setting Up the GbE IP Address
1 From the DCM main window, click Configuration. The Configuration window opens.
2 Double-click the GbE card. The Interface pane opens in the Configuration page.
3 In the appropriate boxes, enter the IP Address assigned to this port and the Subnet Mask to which the IP address belongs.
Important! The octets of the IP address must be separated by dots.
4 Click Apply to make the changes permanent.
5 Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each additional GbE card.
6 Keep this window open and continue with Setting Up the Default Gateway for a GbE Port .
Configuring the GbE Card
Setting Up the Default Gateway for a GbE Port
1 From the DCM Login window, click Configuration. The Configuration window opens and shows the System Settings pane.
2 Double-click the GbE Card. The Configuration-Interface window opens for the GbE card.
3 Click Routes. The Configuration-Routes window opens.
4 From the Add New Static Route table, complete the following steps:
a Select the appropriate port (1, 2, 3, or 4).
b Click the Default Gateway box to enable this setting.
c In the Gateway field, enter the IP address.
Note: The octets of the IP address must be separated by dots.
5 Click Add to make these changes permanent.
6 Continue with Setting Up the Default GbE Port Values .

8 Double-click the GbE Card. The Configuration-Interface window opens for the GbE card.
9 Click Default Settings. The Configuration-Default Settings window opens.
10 In the Start IP Address field, enter the GbE IP address for the output device.
11 In the Start UDP Port field, enter a starting UDP port number.
Tip: To help you track and manage services, give the starting UDP port number the same number as the Source ID on the DNCS.
12 In the Bit Rate (Mbps) field, enter 3.75.
13 Click the Increment Scheme arrow and select UDP Port + 1.

Dear
I did thisconfiguration many times before , the above configuration is completely true .Push (proactively streaming) UDP unicast source , but Client-initiated (pull) RTSP unicast source . The most used is Push. Please can you tell me more details abour your network and if you use MPLS and the traffic flow from satellite to the end user

I already done it before, but it didn't work. Can i ask you additional question? Which is unicast stream source push, pull,or both? Thank you very much.

Hi
I have encoder(AS5100) that has function to stream a pull unicast stream, push unicast stream to media stream server, and multicast stream. For multicast stream(in same VLAN, different VLAN), I already got it. Now I try to use DCM to get unicast stream.
My question
- Can DCM get pull unicast stream(http, mms)?
- For encoder(AS5100), push unicast stream request media stream server destination. Can I configure encoder send stream to DCM directly? or I need to have Media stream server to get and do push unicast stream to DCM again.
I'm new for this solution. Thank you very much.

Dear
Kindly find the below diagram , I think it will help you .
1. DCM takes the Satellite feed to encode.
2. DCM broadcasts the encoded media as multicast channels
3. Users use the remote control to select a channel through the on-screen program guide.
4. The DMP then joins the multicast stream associated to the selected channel and displays the
media on the LCD.
5. MPEG-4 video is sent to the Wowza server that will integrate with Cisco Enterprise
Content Distribution System (ECDS) for delivery to Show and Share (SnS) users
Thank you

Hi
Thank you for your advice .
In my scenario,
- I have AS5100(convert/encode analog to IPstream) that generate push/pull unicast stream and multicast stream. My DCM have only GbE card and MFP. DCM must get stream from AS5100. For push unicast stream, AS5100 requires Windows media server ip address, publishing point. Can I use it point to DCM directly?
- MXE is a kind of ECDS, or not? because I have MXE, but don't have ECDS. Is it neccessary?
Thank you again.

Dear
Yes you can assign AS5100 to DMM. directly but you have to know you will get only SD channel not HD. MXE is only a transcoder from format to any format , ECDS is a solution for streaming through network when stream srever get a file and you need to stream this file through your network other thing when you request something like any video you will need ECDS solution it is like search engine , ECDS is a complete solution ( service routers which will handle requests , Service engine which will be used to search for client requests) . ECDS contains MDE 1100 , MDE 3100. Find the below link
Really i need to help you , any question share with me.
Thank you

Hi
I found that DMM can add encoder, but
Can AS5100 directly stream to DCM(not DMM) to let DCM with MFP transcode SD channel to HD channel? Or it can't.
I found this scenario. Can I integrate my DCM to it? Is this scenario still need for ECDs?
Thank you very much for your help.

Dear
For ECDS , it is manadatory in all design which based on streaming , kindly find the below link
