I have some instances of old (primarily test) servers showing up in my CM admin page. When I try to delete them, the system tells me it cannot contact that server and/or that server still has items associated w/ it. I have searched every page and can find no associations. How can I get rid of these "phantom servers?" Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Sounds like a bug. Head over to the bug tool and see what crops up…if you hit a brick wall give the TAC a shout.http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/launch_bugtool.pl

Hi,
If you go to Admin Serviceability tool and search for devices with "any status" on those servers ,do you get something?

You will have to goto Service -> Service Parameters, select the server to be deleted, and then remove all the services that you can remove. You will then need to remove the software MTP, CFB, MOH for the server you are removing.
You should then be able to delete it from the list under System -> Server.

Yes, I have done all of that. I am still getting the message:
"This DNS/IP Address cannot be deleted because it is in use by one or more devices. Remove the DNS/IP Address from any device that is using it, then try again."
Question is, how can I tell which device is using the DNS/IP Address?
Thanks for the feedback and help.
Regards.
