Hi,
I configured the following configuration in the 3660 router:
dial-peer voice 100 pots
destination-pattern ...
port 5/1/1
I have this configuration to allow only three digit phone number to pass through this particular port, instead even the 7 digit phone numbers use this port also. I have 9.XXXXXXX and a three(3) digit route pattern configured in the CallManager.
I would really appreciate if there's anybody who knows the reason.
Thanks....Arvin

Hi,
with this configuration numbers with at leat three digits are matched with this dial-peer. That is why the 7-digit number also matches. Maybe you should consider a different way to differentiate between the two types of numbers, like using more specific first digit or something.
Also if your 3660 gateway was using MGCP instead of H323, then you could route each route pattern to a different port of the gateway.

Use destination-pattern ...$
It matches called number '222', but doesn't match '2222' and so on.
Tested on AS5300 IOS 12.2(1)
