I have Unity 3.1.4 12-port UM with Exchange 5.5 on box in an existing Exchange 5.5/NT4 site. We will be changing this to a failover scenario. They purchased a new server (MCS-7847) and all failover licensing. I want to use DiRT to backup the existing server and restore it on the new hardware. Then I'll build the old server as the failover server.
I'll need to move the Exchange 5.5 connection to be off-box for failover, which is supported with the DiRT restore tool.
Currently we are running SQL 2000 MSDE on Unity. When going to failover, we need to change to full SQL 2000 Server. Are there any issues with DiRT when changing SQL versions?
Any other concerns?

No, the licensing for SQL wont matter - the SQL backup and restore procedures work the same since the engine itself is identical - only the licensing, number of concurrent processes allowed, tools available and the like are different between the two - the database and transaction logs are the same deal.
