Disable settings button on IP Phone

Is is possible to disable the settings button on the IP Phone (7940/60) or at least limit the ringtones to 1 on one phone in a CM cluster. Using CM 3.3.3

This is a device setting on the phone itself - go to device/phone. Its a device specific option called "settings access".

You can use BAT to update this setting - start BAT, choose configure/phone/update phones.

This completely disables the settings button however. I don't know of anyway to allow access to this button, but restrict ringtones on specific devices.

If you don't want to disable the settings button, but want to limit the ring tones to 2, then you can ename the RingList.xml file in the TFTP directory. You can also edit this file to remove some of the ring tones you don't want users to have.
