Distance limitation for E1 Trunk on copper ?

Is there a limititation on the distance when connecting a router VWIC-E1-MFT port to the PBX E1 port on copper cable ( 50 pair Jelly filled copper cable ) for creating an E1 PRI trunk between the two devices. I currently need to create an E1 PRI trunk for integrating the existing PBX users with IP Phones users. Distance approx 600 mtrs between router and PBX.

Have anyone done a similar setup ???

Most manufacturers will tell you that 150-200 meters is the maximum with 120 ohm shielded ABAM cable.

You will need HDSL E1 drivers to ensure reliable performance over your 50 pair cable. Most can drive at least 5 km of unconditioned cable.
