Has anyone else seen this.

Have a 5.3.0 DMM installed on UCS

Setup and licensed and working

I even did a fresh install of it.

Put in the 5.3 -> 5.4 upgrade CD  (yes checked the MD5 and it was a good download).

AAI - Started the upgrade

Mounts the CD then I get this

Cannot find appropriate update file:  UCS-C210-DMS-V5.3.0.dm2.enc

Image also attached below

TIA

Is the CD in IOS format?  If not that could be your problem.

John

The download from CCO was a .ISO file.

I've tried burning that to a CD = failed per above error

I was able to open the CD on my computer after the burn and see the contents fine.

I've tried using the CIMC and Remote Virtual Media and connecting the .ISO file = failed per above error

Hi Marc,

Can you send a screenshot of the content of the CD after you open it in your PC?

Can you also send a screenshot of the SHOW_INFO menu from your DMM AAI?

The error message seen normally means that the DMM is not able to find the appropriate update package files in the CD. So we should review the content of the CD itself and see if anything is missing...

Regards,

Marco

Here's the screenshots.

The CD does not have the missing file on it.

Hi Marc,

Indeed, this does not look a DMS 5.4 upgrade DVD. This looks to be a DMS 5.2.0 DVD.

How did you obtain it? You should request a new ISO for 5.4...

Best Regards,

Marco

Just got a fresh image from Cisco CCO account

Here's what it looks like and it's the same thing.

Did someone maybe load the wrong one on Cisco's side?

Hi Marc,

How exactly you got it from your Cisco.com account?  DMS 5.4 upgrade software is not published on Cisco.com. It is only available for SAS customers via the Product Upgrade Tool (PUT).

If you got it via PUT, I can raise this problem internally. Please also report this to your Cisco Account Team, they should be able to help with receiving the proper software.

Regards,

Marco
