DMP 4400 v5.4 and DMM 5.2.2 Registration

Please let me know, the DMP 4400 with running version 5.4 will register in DMM running version 5.2.2 or not ??

Should I need to upgrade the DMM to 5.2.3 or higher?

The DMM and DMP should always be at the same release level.  The DMP should register but you may have other isues with this deployment.  I would advise after migrating your DMPs to 5.4 you migrate the DMM to 5.4.  Also be aware that Show and Share is not supported in 5.4.

We already have server setup with version 5.2.2 and now planning tu place order of new 4400 DMP's. New DMPs are coming with 5.4 version. So what is the best method to implement?

Can we downgrade the DMP firmware? or any other workaround is there?

Nishant,

You can down grade the DMPs but it might be better to upgrade your DMM to 5.4 unless you plan on using Show and Share.  DMM 5.4 has improved content creation and workflow plus a number of fixes to the code.
