Hi All,
I have callmanager 3.2 with ATA186 working H.323.
my problem is, during a call between IPphone to the ata186 can't hear the dtmf tones on the fxs port of the ata186 sending by the ipphone.
please advice, any help will appreciated

The problem could be with the audio path.DTMF digits are passed on the audio path. Even if the line supervision signaling is operating correctly, DTMF digits will not be passed if the audio path is broken. It could be Audio Operation mismatch (for example, one side configured for 2-wire, the other for 4-wire) or wiring problems on the audio path.

I am not using E&M, there is no problem with the voice between the 2 end points (7960 & ATA186) the issue is with the DTMF sending by the 7960.

I had this problem with SCCP ata running version 2.14ms. The ATA didn't support this. in 2.15ms it does and works just fine (I use it for a doorbell system). With h323 on the ata it should be working.....
so what software do you use in the ATA (go to 2.14 or higher for h323)
What software are you using on the 7960 (I use P003030202B0)
You can also check if the 7960 is sending dtmf to other h323 locations. If it doesn't then I guess it's the 79xx software
