I am experiencing echo problems when using the softphone. Is there a way to sort this out. Also what port on the firewall do I have to enable to use IP soft phone from a remote location.
Are there any known issues I should be aware of, as I have not done this b/4 . Thanks

Who is hearing the Echo?
I have found, depending on the Headset, you have to adjust the volume within softphone and the audio settings control panels.
What I would do is lauch the audio settings for both windows and softphone and make a call. Then with the caller on the phone, adjust both the mic and speaker levels until the echo is gone. This has worked numberous time for me.
