Enable BE6000 mode

Have CUCM 12.5 cluster in production. Now I want to enable BE6000 to activate the starter bundle.

Will any CUCM service affected when we enable BE6000 mode?

Should we have a maintenance window to execute the same?

CUCM 12.5 uses smart licensing. starter bundle is a promotional package for BE6K. for CUCM its just  license(CUWl,ENH+,ENH,BASCI,ESS).

all your license will be deposited on your smart account. you just need to register the CUCM instance with smart account and that will not affect any services. 

Smart license can be done using direct method and using satellite. you will get more informations from below link.
