Enable Video Calling on Third-party CUCM Registered Device - Polycom

Hello Community,

I have two Polycom Trio 8800 conference phones that comes with Visual+  for video calling and content sharing support.  I successfully registered the Polycom Trio 8800 devices on CUCM. Audio calls are working fine between Polycom Trio devices as well as with Cisco devices but not video calling.

I followed this procedure:

https://support.polycom.com/content/dam/polycom-support/products/voice/realpresence-trio/setup-maintenance/en/deploying-soundstation-with-cucm-us.pdf

Is there any parameter we need to enable on the SIP Profile Device configuration on the CUCM to enable video calling?

CUCM ver. 10.5.2

Thank you.

Hello,

Have you checked the region relationship or location bandwidth if that is not restricting the video calls?

Also whether you are able to make video calls between Cisco units?

If yes try to use the same pool for these units as well and see if it works

Even also if that is not working try to collect the call manager traces and see in sip logs whether it is negotiating video or not?

Thanks
