Basic access to the https://ip/cmuser. One user workes great but another does't. The server has LDAP to the AD and this seems to work great. I can do manual sync and the changes is done.
Is there a log where I can see the activity?
as Brian correctly pointed out, your users need to be a member of a group to access the CCMUser pages. The group must have the correct role attributed to it.
The role that provides that access is the "Standard CCMUSER Administration" role. There's a built in group that has this role associated already and that group is the "Standard CCM End Users" Group.
I have checked and both users have Standard CCM End User group.
And they have Standard CCM End user role and Standard CCMUSER Administration role.
They have also a phone attach
if you've set up the LDAP authentication to AD the CCMUser page login is authenticated against the AD Global Catalog server so you might want to see if there's anything in the logs there
I've also previously seen problems logging onto the ccmuser pages where the username was case sensitive, so it might be worth checking that.
What sort of error are you getting when the user attempts to login? What version of CUCM are you running?
in addition you should also be able to gather CCMUser traces from the Serviceability web page. If you don't have that option you might be running into the following bug
