We have a client who has an IP Telephony environment with Cisco UC applications (CUCM, CUC, UCCX, CER). Currently the UC applications are on UCS C210M2 servers. The ESXi hosts are not on a vCenter environment.
The client is planning to migrate these UC Apps to UCS C240M4S2 servers which they have received.
The UCS C240M4S2 servers were shipped with ESXi version: 5.5.0-2068190 = 5.5 U2.
I have checked on our Dimension Data internal forum and the recommended stable version would be 5.5.0-32485247 = 5.5 U3.
My questions are:
1. What would be the Cisco recommended ESXi version on 5.5 release I should upgrade the servers to?
2. Is there a documentation that provides the recommended version based on stability, bugs, etc?
