Expressway Upgrade - Licenses RMS

Hello, 

I have a doubt, When the Expressway is upgrade from version 8.x to 14.x, what happen with the RMS license? Is it necessary to buy a new licenses of A-Flex 3.0? Or it just a Re-host?

Hi,

as you are just doing an upgrade, you shouldn't have to do anything.

You could let re-host the RMS lics from EXP-C to EXP-E.

Per the expressway guides:

Updated for X12.5.4. Removed references to release key as it is not required to upgrade a system on X8.6.x or later software to 12.5.4 or later.

The other license keys will remain with the appliance, they should be keyed to the serial number.

The serial number should not change between upgrades.
