Fast dials/speed dials

Hi

Easy question of the day - if I use the CCMUser pages, I can set up speed dials that appear on buttons... no problem.

If I set up speed dials that aren't button-associated, how do I dial these from the phone? I was under the impression they'd appear on the fast dial service but this doesn't appear to be the case...

If you have that service configured, all you need to do is go to the service and you'll see list of unassigned dials, simply press the assign softkey.

The service url:http://ip/ccmpd/xmlFastDials.asp

Paramenter:

PreDial

UserPIN

Hi Chris

Thanks for the response - I do see the list of unassigned dials, but what I expected was to see the speed dials I configured on the CCmuser pages...

These must appear somewhere - or what's the point in adding them?

The speed dials are only associated with the buttons, they do not appear in the service. Based on your phone template you'll under ccmuser speed dials you see number of lines setup for speed dials.

The speed dial number not associated with the buttons will work with Abbrivated Dialing.

So dial the speed dial number associated with the number you are trying to dial and then click on the AbbrvDial softkey.
