DTMF-manual plays a beep and waits for a few seconds after answering the phone to allow a human time to enter the FAX id of the person they want the fax to go to.
the DTMF-telco doesn't wait, it just starts playing CNG tone. You can still press DTMF during the CNG and it'll collect it. Most humans will get flustered by this, however.
The default should be DTMF-Manual... it will work fine for switches or for humans.
