Hello,
I've got a question that hopefully has an answer. I'm running a gatekeeper with a couple zones. I'm using a tech-prefix, but not a default tech-prefix. Everything is working fine between CM, CME, local gatekeeper, and the backbone gatekeeper. The problem occurs when I attempt to register an ATA directly to the local gatekeeper.
It registers just fine, and calls can reach it so long as I don't prepend the tech-prefix to the digit string, because it registers its E.164 number. However, the ATA can't make any calls to any of the other devices because they aren't registering their numbers and the ATA isn't including the tech prefix.
Is there anyway to get this to work without using the default tech-prefix?
Thanks,
Vance

PWD0 = 1# (or whatever your tech prefix is)

Hello,
Thanks for the response. I had read another post to that effect and got it working shortly after posting. On additional thing I had to do was set:
AutMethod = 0x00000004
Without this it wouldn't work. I guess this is a fine workaround. It just seemed like there should be something a bit more elegant or documented, perhaps.. Anyway, it seems to work.
Thanks,
Vance
