We are trying to set up a GateKeeper on a Cisco 7206 to route voip calls between two gateways. I would like to be able to do this WITHOUT registering the gateway endpoints. I have been unsuccessfull in my attempts to get this to work. Here is our Gatekeeper config:
gatekeeper
zone local gk anyco.com
no zone subnet gk default enable
alias static x.x.x.x 1720 gkid gk gateway voip ras x.x.x.x 1719 e164 53*
alias static x.x.x.x 1720 gkid gk gateway voip ras y.y.y.y 1719
gw-type-prefix 53* gw ipaddr y.y.y.y 1720
no shutdown
Here is the originating gateway. config.
dial-peer voice 53 voip
destination-pattern xxxxxx01153T
translate-outgoing called 1
voice-class codec 1
session target ipv4:GATEKEEPER ip
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
All we are doing here is placing a call from our IVR into the gateway which strips the auth code(xxxxxx) and 011 then passes the call over to the gatekeeper. When I try and place a call here is what I get, this is a "sh call hist voice" from the gateway:
PeerAddress=5372040288
PeerSubAddress=
PeerId=53
PeerIfIndex=619
LogicalIfIndex=0
DisconnectCause=3
DisconnectText=no route to destination.
I did this on the gatekeeper as well and it doesnt show anything.
So what am I doing wrong here?
Thanks for your help!

correction:
alias static x.x.x.x 1720 gkid gk gateway voip ras x.x.x.x 1719 e164 53*
alias static y.y.y.y 1720 gkid gk gateway voip ras y.y.y.y 1719
gw-type-prefix 53* gw ipaddr x.x.x.x 1720
I got my x and y mixed up.

In your dial-peer you might want to change the session target to ras. I don't think you can specify the session target as the ip address of the gatekeeper.
If I get a chance, I'll set this up in my lab and try it out.
You may want to just open a TAC case on this issue, may get you a quick solution.
