We've encountered a high PSTN billing usage for a particular month and found out because of hair pinning. Searching from CCO to find the solution. What we are doing is to tell users not to dial the internal ext. number with PSTN DID numbers. Please direct me any url in regards to the hair pinning solution. Thanks.

I use CCM route patterns with called party transformations. I only have to do this for a few numbers though.

I think what you are trying to say is that your internal users are dialing the full DID number to reach other extension instead of just dialing the extension.
If that is the case, I'd use a translation pattern that will match the pattern dialed and strip off the digits except for the extension. For example, if a user's DID is (555)555-1212 and his extension is 1212, I'd create a translation pattern of 91555555XXXX and set the called party transform mask to XXXX. This will convert it to just the last 4 digits.
