How to join multiparty conference from standard 3 rd party video endpoint

Hi

If a multiparty meeting is hosted on a TelePresence server, how does a user join in from a standard based 3 rd party video endpoint

Need help in understanding the detailed steps required at user end

Hi Prakash,

How does your TelePresence Server being deployed?

- is it locally managed (standalone) or remotely managed (with Cisco Telepresence Conductor, CUCM, VCS, TMS)?

What kind of 3rd party video endpoint (Polycom? LifeSize? etc..)

If locally managed, the endpoint can join to  the conference hosted by the Telepresence server by using either of these methods:

1. From the endpoint, dial the Telepresence Server's IP address + the numeric ID of the conference.

2. On the Telepresence Server conference, you can join the endpoint by entering it's IP address and the Telepresence sever will dial out the endpoint.
