For several reasons the customer would like to re-build a new Unity Server and bring the existing one eventually out of commission in order to be replaced by the new one.

There are currently 700 Subscribers currently defined on this existing Unity 2.46.135 system. They are in Voice Male only mode.

What are the suggested and supported procedures that we need to invoke to make this transition as painless as possible:

Items that are on my mind:

1) Copying the greetings of all Call Handlers and of Subscribers in order to paste them into the new Unity Server
2) How to export the existing Unity Subscribers from one system AND import them over to the new Unity Server
3) Can we also transfer the exiting voice mail messages that that Subscribers saved on the existing Unity Server to the new one.
4) For proper roll-over, can we have both Unity Servers up and running in parallel pointing to the same Call Manager with a range of different "uOne Ports" naturally. In this simulataneous Unity setup, must we have both the existing and the new Unity server in the same Exchange Site or not required.

This sounds like a job for the Full Database import/export tool. You can pick it up here:
http://www.answermonkey.net/App_full_import_export.htm
You will need to use a program such as ExMerge from Microsoft to move the subscriber messages since the Full Database import/export will not. Check out this URL:

Check out this thread on having multiple Unity servers with one CM:

Also, you'll find a document Will wrote for migrating servers using ExMerge and Export/Import on the General Tools page on AnswerMonkey.net. Worth a read...
