Incomming calls from a PSTN

I'm pretty new to Cisco VoIP but I have a question. I have a cisco 1751 router with a phone. I have everything working. Calling between phones over the network, calling outside to a normal phone number but I'm not able to configure the router that it redirects an incoming call to one of the phones in the IP network. I'm based in the Netherlands. Can somebody explain simple how this is working?

Thanks !

Peter

I am assuming that you have a Analog FXO card where the calls are coming in.

If that is the case, then you cna use connection plar under the voice port to send the call to a destination number as soon as it comes in.

Hi Tiamoor,

Yes, I have an FXO and I believe an FXS port on my router. Do you have an example of a config for this? Not sure what you mean by plar?

Thanks for your help.

simple config :

ex:

# conf t

conf# voice-port 1/0/0

conf(voice-port)#connection plar 1000 /* 1000 is the extion of the IP phone */

then do dial-peer config

dial-peer voice 100 voip

destination-pattern 1...

session target ipv4:1.1.1.1

codec g711ulaw

Anand

Thanks, going to try this in the weekend.

This is working perfectly. Thanks very much for your help.

Is it possible to have the incomming call forwarded to multiple phones?

Thanks very much again !
