Installing CCM 5.0

I read the recommandation for CM5.0

Cisco CallManager 5.0 requires a minimum of the following on the Cisco CallManager servers.

- 2 GB of memory

- 72 GB Disk Drive

- 2 GHz processor

I try to install it on HP Proliant DL140 G2 But I have an error message during the installation.

See my picture screen (not excellent quality). I don't think so I can decrease clock speed. What is the way?

Many Thanks

fab

Good morning Fabien. As you have seen in the message, Cisco has stringent requirements on what hardware you can use for their OSes. I would go by the matrix of hardware on Cisco's website.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/voiceapp/ps378/index.html

Hi jlzfeeney,

Ok for your URL.

But with this documentation :

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/5_0/rel_note/501cmrn.pdf

I have this remark :

System Requirements

Make sure that you install and configure Cisco CallManager release 5.0(1) on a Cisco Media

Convergence Server (MCS).

You may also install Cisco CallManager on a Cisco-approved HP server configuration or a

Cisco-approved IBM server configuration.

Cisco CallManager 5.0 requires a minimum of the following on the Cisco CallManager servers.

+ 2 GB of memory

+ 72 GB Disk Drive

+ 2 GHz processor

Thanks

Ok, I have more information... For HP server

First my server is a DL320-G2 part number 322544-422 (not into the list...)

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/voiceapp/ps378/prod_brochure09186a0080107d79.html

So, no solution for me. I can't disable the clock speed check?

Thanks

If the server doesn't match exactly the specifications at this link it won't be supported, and very likely will not pass the hardware checks in the installation routine. All supported server specs are at:
