IOS Conference Bridge - which MAC address?

I will be using a 3725 with an Etherswitch module and an NM-HDV for a PRI and for Conference Bridge. This router will connect over the WAN in a Centralized CallProcessing model. Since phones and PCs at this branch office will be plugging directly into the Etherswitch module the onboard FastEth ports will be unused. When configuring the IOS Conf bridge in CallManager what port's MAC address do I use? I don't have a router yet to test this with, but if the interface that is being used to register the IOS Conf Bridge with CallManager is down, will the conf bridge still register?

You can use any of the FastEthernet port's mac address. It doesn't matter if that port is up or down. As long as you have TCP connectivity from the 3725 to the Callmanager, everything will work fine.

You can as well use one of your WAN interfaces as the sccp local interface. If you do so, then the router will use the mac address of the first ethernet interface to register with Callmanager. So if you prefer this method, make sure you add the mac address of the first ethernet interface as the Conf Bridge device.
