You should run a plus image. The later 12.1 T images are good as well as the 12.2 mainline images. There are issues on 12.2.3 and 12.2.5 images. 12.2.1 and 12.1.5.10T are pretty stable.

Note that right now you can only do H.323 signaling. For MGCP backhaul for E1 PRI you need to use 12.2(2)XN IOS software which is scheduled to be released very shortly.
