Ip phone looses power and hangs/loops the whole voice vlan in an hp env

Anyone heard of this??

I haven't been on site yet, but we are going to do some sniffing and try to reproduce the error.

It happens when:

A 7940 with powercube gets ejected from power, the whole voice VLAN comes in a loop or something, the other six VLAN's are not affected att all. The ports on the hp switches are set to dot1q and the PC's are connected to the switch on the phone.
