Hi,

One method of setting administrative privilege to a user without going via initial setup is described below.

Using DC Directory Administrator go to

CCN Apps/Configurations/usergroup.xxxxxxxx/users?array and verify that your admin userid is there. You can also add a valid Call manager userID followed by (1)

For example set it to: admin(1)

From then on use this ID - admin to logon to appadmin screen.

Look at CCN Apps/Configurations/usergroup.xxxxxxxx/users?array

and verify that your admin userid is there. You can also add

a valid Call manager userID followed by (1)

For example set it to: admin(1)

Note : If you delete the C:\WINNT\system32\ccn\ccndir.ini file, you need to set

the flag "com.cisco.wf.admin.installed" to false in ..\wfavvid\appadmin.proeprties then login to CRS Admin with Administrator/ciscocisco.

Your putting the "A" in Administrator in CAPS correct? Please post the exact error your getting.

Yes, i have seen the CallManager Compatibility Matrix, the versions that im using is CallManager 3.3(4) and IPCC Express 3.1.3 but this version do not apears on the chart. Do this versions work together?

Regrards,

Hi

The CallManager Compatibility Matrix has not yet been updated with the CCBU provided info:

CRS 3.1(3) has been tested with both Call Manager 3.3(3) and 3.3(4).

The Unauthorized web page appears when you try to log in

Symptom : After you enter a User Identification and Password and click Log On in the CRA Administration Authentication web page, the Unauthorized web page appears.

Possible Cause : You entered an incorrect ID or password, you have not been configured properly in CRA Administration, or the DC Directory Server service (or another LDAP service) is not running.

Recommended Action

1. Make sure that you are using a User ID that is a configured as Administrator. Even though a user exists in Cisco CallManager, a user must be configured as Administrator in CRA Administration.

2. User ID and Password are case sensitive, so make sure that you enter these items correctly.

3. Do not use "Administrator" as the user ID or "ciscocisco" as the password. These names work only when the system is first set up. After the system is set up and users are configured as administrators, the Administrator/ciscocisco identification no longer works.

4. Make sure that the DC Directory Server service running. Or, if you have specified another LDAP as the active directory, make sure that service is running.

The UserId "Administrator" and Password "ciscocisco" only work for fresh install and first time set-up process for appadmin.

We've got the same problem -- running CCM 3.3(3) and CRA 3.1(2) co-resident. We've tried installing CRA twice, but both times the initial logon fails using "Administrator" and "ciscocisco". Since we can't get into CRA Administration at all, we can't configure additional users as Administrators. DCD is running. Is there a Registry hack to make it think it's the first time all over again without re-re-installing?

Hi,

You can delete the C:\WINNT\system32\ccn\ccndir.ini file then login to CRS Admin with Administrator/ciscocisco.

Then you need to go through the Directory Setup again and then Select the CM userid to use for subsequent CRS Admin logins from User Maintenance page.

Hope it helps

Thanks to all. In our case, the 3rd time (2nd reinstall) was apparently the charm -- default userid and password worked. Now it's on to learning the scripting language.

Thank you, this realy works!
