ISDN incomplete caller number

Hello,

While I was debugging my ISDN connections, I have noticed that the caller number is always incomplete.

In my case, the "0" of the local area code is missing.

Do you think that it's a normal line provider behaviour?

Thanks.

We all met this problem. The first number depends of the Telco provider so as you sometimes can choose your operator, this first number is always missing on incomings calls.

You can add it 2 ways :

- with an H323 gateway using CLI transformations :

*create your translation rule :

translation-rule 1

Rule 0 ^1 01

Rule 1 ^1 01

Rule 2 ^2 02

Rule 3 ^3 03

Rule 4 ^4 04

Rule 5 ^5 05

Rule 6 ^6 06

*apply it on your voip dial peer

translate-outgoing calling 1

- with an MGCP gateway with CCM4 you can set up National and International Number Prefix in the CCM's Service Parameters (Service>Service Parameters then choose your CCM and click the Advanced Button)

You'll find lots of post about these configurations on this forum

Marc
