ISDN PRI International Call fails (Plan:ISDN, Type:National)

I seem to recall TAC showing me how to hardcode the Gateway> Type H323> "Calling party IE number type unknown" value to different settings based upon where you are calling, perhaps via the Route List or Route Group.

Problem: "Calling party IE number type unknown" is hardcoded to National and calls to certain 011 International numbers fail with Nstional. Debug isdn q931 shows successful calls and unsuccesful have different isdn types.

Calling Party Number i = 0x2183, '7044914288'

Plan:ISDN, Type:National

Called Party Number i = 0x80, '3800'

Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown

Are they successful when the Plan and Type are Unknown? Is this some type of Software Defined Network connection?

On the H.323 gateway you can hardcode the plan and type on the interface by using:

isdn map address . plan unknown type unknown
