I have a NIM-2FXS/4FXO card in our BE4000. What I want is the FXS port to set off a loud buzzer in our production area when another extension rings. Like a Shared Line setting. I've setup the first FXS port as an Analog Phone and given it an extension. But now I need to share that line with another extension on an 8811 phone.
That is as far as I have gotten. The extension number for the FXS port has to be different than any extension setup in the Extensions list. But the extension for the FXS port does not show up in any other list that I could connect the two extensions. I've tried following the steps for a Shared Line, but the extension for the FXS is not an option.
Any suggestions or solutions?
