Long duration voip calls disconnect timeout

Hi,

I have been requested to design a solution where it is needed to have several calls active during several hours without any traffic, and still be able to resume a conversation at any moment.

Does anybody know about any particular limitation of using VoIP to accomplish this?

In other terms is there any time limitation for the duration of a VoIP call, either wiht or without voice traffic?
