I have installed the cisco meeting place express, when I restart the server I open the Cisco Meeting Place Express, doing double click on the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express Icon. And the browser show a message unable to open the page?. What happen??

You might have to check the hosts file on your mpe server. If you're using DNS make sure it's resolvable through DNS.

See, I tried to access the application using its IP address not the name, but it didn't work. so it has nothing to do with the dns resolving, am I right ????

What do you see when you run: mpx_sys status
from the terminal?

Make sure that you correctly set the host name values during installation. If you entered incorrect information, use the net command to change the values.

Hi Justin,
The PC from which I am trying to http to the MPE server, does it need to be in the same domain as MPE server? Is there an option to build an MPE server without putting it into any domain?

It does not need to be in the Domain, but the DNS resolution needs to be entered in the Hosts file.
