MeetMe Conference Bridge - Outside Caller Initiation

We have two MeetMe bridges setup on the CallManager, 225 and 235.

I know to start the conference bridge, you would initiate it from the phone.

Is it possible to have an outside caller initiate the bridge?

No, it is currently not possible to initiate a conf bridge from outside. The initiator has to be a CCM registerd phone.

That's what I've figured.

Has any one come up with any kind of a hack around that? Like to create a dummy extension that is always off-hook in the MeetMe bridge?

See if you can use Unity or CRS to make a call to the meetme number first. Then an outside caller can join
