MGCP and PLAR

I am running CCM 4.3 with a VG248 running MGCP

Some of the FXS ports are used for fax machines via MGCP but and I want to set a couple as Lobby phones using PLAR to connect to the security lodge.

How should I do this as I don't see how PLAR would be configured in the gateway when it has MGCP and CCM doesn't have any set up for it using MGCP ?

Is it possible to have some ports connected via MGCP and others via H323 ?

One option is to use a partition and calling search space to accomplish this. Take a look at the following link.

Thanks for the reply but how would this relate to my situation as I am using analogue phones on a FXS ports.

I also need to understand how this would interract with MGCP.

Hi when you configure a mgcp vg248 you must configure a line to each port that you wish to use, in that line you can set the css that you are going to use for plar.
