MGCP E1 PSTN problem

Hi

I have a problem where I can only dial certain PSTN numbers. Basically I can just phone the PSTN numbers that are directly connected to the PSTN exchange where the IPT E1's terminate.

I got two isdn q931 traces (one that worked, and one that doesn't). I get the following message on the failed call... Cause i = 0x829C - Invalid number format (incomplete number). I think it's because the PSTN doesn't know how to route these calls, any thoughts on this one?

Re: MGCP E1 PSTN problem

Check this error:

Cause i = 0x829C - Invalid number format (incomplete number)

I believe you can contact your Telco to verify why is not allowing Called Party Number i = 0x80, '01450581' to be dialed, maybe they requiere something in the Plan or Type

You can force the Plan and Type to be

ISDN and National in the Gateway configuration page in CCM admin.

Seems to be that CallManager option is set (default option)
