I've installed the Telex P-800 USB audio card as my fixed audio source. I've followed the instructions on setting it up twice and still cannot seem to make it work. Is there something I'm missing. My MOH server is the publisher and is a MCS-7825. We are running CM 4.01(sr1a). I've been feeding it an MP3 player for testing. One question is does the headphone output operate the same as a line out? I did buy the attenuator from Radio Shack as well. Any help would be much appreciated.

We have the same configuration as you do (we are using a iPod Mini for MP3 music) except that we are using CM 3.3(4).
I am sure that you have already done the following, however I would check again:
Verify your settings under Service | Media Resource | Music on Hold Audio Source | 51 Fixed audio source, and verify that you have field "MOH Fixed Audio Source Device" set to your sound cards exact name. In this case since we have the Telex P-800 as well I would assume its the same "USB Audio Device". Then Verify under your device pools that you have Network Hold MOH Audio Source and User Hold MOH Audio Source set to 51 - Fixed audtio source. Reset your phones, and all should work. Multicasting is optional based on your network topology.

Rather than apply that external sound device to an entire device pool I am applying it to a single phone just for testing purposes. I hear nothing but silence. I have verified that the device name is entered correctly. What else am I missing?
